Weissman & Weissman - Construction Seminar 2006

This seminar, taught by Robert A. Weissman, an attorney, currently representing a wide variety of subcontractors, many general contractors and some suppliers will discuss the new Mechanics' Lien procedures and laws that will go into affect on January 1, 2011. This is a major change in the recording and enforcement of Mechanics' Liens that every claimant will need to know and must comply with in 2011.

This seminar will discuss Preliminary Notices, Stop Notices, and payment bonds for both public and private projects. We will give you the law and teach you how to complete the forms. We will also discuss at this seminar contents of contracts and credit applications, including terms and conditions, the four statutory releases and release bonds.
